Online Telemedicine Services Provided at Morrison Clinic Psychiatry Texas

At Morrison Clinic Psychiatry, we are dedicated to providing a wide range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our patients. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we made the decision to close our physical clinic to better serve both our patients and the community. This transition allowed us to focus on delivering healthcare that is both accessible and convenient through a telemedicine-only platform.

Our telemedicine services encompass comprehensive care, including diagnosis, brief psychotherapy, treatment planning, and medication management for conditions such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorders. At Morrison Clinic, we are committed to ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care from the comfort of their homes.

In addition to our online telepsychiatry medical services, our administrative office operates using a 100% online model. Our online platforms offer patients 24/7 access to scheduling, billing, medical inquiries, and resources.  These features greatly streamline your experience and minimize any administrative burdens.

To enhance the patient experience and access to care, Morrison Clinic has developed a specialized online virtual assistant triage module. This innovative tool allows you to assess various health concerns, provides our staff with the necessary details to support you, and guides you to the appropriate care pathway, ensuring timely and effective treatment.

We also understand the importance of communication in healthcare, which is why we offer a HIPAA-compliant direct messaging system. This feature allows you to communicate with our staff directly and securely, ensuring your privacy and confidentiality.

At Morrison Clinic, we prioritize our patients’ easy access to care and resources. We believe these comprehensive online platforms significantly contribute to that goal, providing a seamless, efficient, and patient-centered experience.

Illnesses Treated at The Morrison Clinic Telepsychiatry

Your new patient telemedicine with Amy Morrison typically takes an hour. During this time, Amy will ask you a series of questions to help rule out various psychiatric illnesses. As she works with you to analyze your concerns, she will narrow down the potential diagnoses. Towards the end of your appointment, she will discuss your possible diagnosis and if any additional steps are needed to confirm it. This could include blood work, referrals to other medical specialists, input from your family or therapist, or observing how your symptoms develop over time.  Below is a list of our commonly treated illnesses.

On rare occasions, Amy may determine that you need a clinician who works in both an outpatient and inpatient setting. This typically occurs in patients who have been recently hospitalized or are at high risk of needing hospitalization. In such situations, she will likely refer you to a medical provider who can better meet your needs by offering both inpatient and outpatient care. This ensures you receive comprehensive and continuous care tailored to your specific circumstances. I

Jared

Amy is great about asking relevant questions, listening intently, and providing specific feedback about my ongoing mental health. She is very professional in the way she views and prescribes medication as just one component in the overall approach to well-being. Scheduling appointments online and checking-in with a simple 2 min survey on a tablet is a huge time-saver. Every other place I've been to runs 30-45 mins late, gives me a stack of papers, sees me for 5 mins, and overprescribes big time.
